On January 31, 2017 Oracle completed the acquisition of Dyn, which now operates as an Oracle Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) global business unit (GBU).
Dyn is seeking a talented DBA Engineer to help build and maintain Dyn’s data infrastructure. The role is focused on helping manage Dyn’s growing network and systems infrastructure assisting the NOC through escalations. The DBA Engineer will also work proactively with other DBAs to help deploy and manage Dyn’s systems.
The DBA Engineer will work on an on-call rotation alongside other personnel supporting database and tools infrastructure. A DBA Engineer needs to be a highly technical individual with administration and/or engineering experience in the systems discipline.
Linux and Unix environments, computer systems, SQL and NoSQL solutions MySQL, or PostgreSQL based. Having a background in cloud based technologies is an asset.
